Sunday morning bible study
The following bible study groups are held at First Baptist Church of Newberry on Sundays from 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM. Review each group information to learn more.
Mixed Adults
Ray Scott teaches the mixed adults group to men and women 18 years and older.
Young Adults
Sandy Paquette teaches the co-ed young adults group to singles and married couples, ages 18 - 30.
Senior Men's
Stan McKoy teaches the senior men's adults group.
Men's
Chad Arban teaches the men's group to men 18 years and older.
Youth
Sharon Wainwright teaches the co-ed youth group, grades 6th - 12th.
Dorcas by Faith
Betty McGraw teaches the Dorcas by Faith senior women's group. The class focuses on charity and good works.
Women's
Helen Smith teaches the women's group to women 18 years and older.
Children 3rd - 5th Grade
Amanda Jackson teaches the co-ed 3rd through 5th grade group.
Children K5 - 2nd Grade
Kelly Day teaches the co-ed Kindergarten through 2nd grade group.
Nursery
Dorothy Santerfiet leads a group of volunteers who serve in the nursey for infants to Pre-Kindergarten.
Sunday Worship Service Groups
The following children's groups are held at First Baptist Church of Newberry on Sundays during the main worship service from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM. The leaders of each group are listed, however, the teachers rotate weekly. The rotation allows the adults to serve in a ministry capacity while still enjoying the worship service the majority of the year.
Children's Church
M3cca Senterfitt leads a group of volunteers who serve on a rotation to teach children Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Nursery
Dorothy Santerfiet leads a group of volunteers who serve in the nursey for infants to Pre-Kindergarten.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
The following bible studies are held at First Baptist Church of Newberry on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. Dinner is served prior to the lesson at 5:30 PM for all youth and children.
Adults
Pastor Stephen Wilson leads the men and women 18 years and older through expository and topical lessons. The lessons provide real life application rooted in the Bible and Christian church history.
Nursery
Dorothy Santerfiet leads a group of volunteers who serve in the nursey for infants to Pre-Kindergarten.
Youth
Kelly Day and Elliot Williams lead the co-ed youth group grades 6th - 12th.
Team Kids
Bonny Houser and M3cca Senterfitt leads Team Kids for Kindergarten through 5th grade boys and girls.
